The Google Nonprofits Ad Grant:
What is it?
Google offers registered charities the opportunity to compete for exposure within its search results via the advert listings at the top of the page (See example right). A monthly budget of $10,000 (approx £8,000) is provided to spend on placing these adverts in top positions and you will choose which searches you’d like to appear for.
What This Means?
This new exposure at the top of Google for searches relevant to your charity will direct thousands of extra visitors to your site each month. Where you choose what to appear for this traffic can be targeted towards your marketing goals whether it be encouraging sign ups for services, raising awareness for projects, downloading documents, boosting donations or all of them at once.
Does It Work?
We have helped a theatre achieve £7k in additional ticket sales in just one month, increased donation numbers for a wildlife charity by 12% over 3 months and helped an adoption charity launch its services in a new region by targeting searches within that area generating enquiries in their first week.
